Mr. Stinar will assume the CEO role from co-founder Dick Hebert, who will become the Chairman of the Board of Directors. While Mr. Hebert will continue to be involved in the oversight of the business, his day-to-day involvement will become less.
“D & D Is very excited to bring the talent and experience that Scott has to offer to the CEO position. Scott has had a long history of working with other companies such as D & D and has worked with us for over 15 years in the many necessary capacities that we have needed as D & D has grown,” commented Mr. Hebert.
Prior to jointing D & D, Mr. Stinar was a Shareholder in the Grand Forks, ND office of Brady, Martz & Associates, P.C., a regional CPA Firm. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Mr. Stinar served as the Firm’s President from 1999 to 2009. More recently, most of Mr. Stinar’s client service work included business planning, business advisory to closely held businesses, business valuations, and consulting on purchases and sales of businesses. Mr. Stinar has worked with D & D in this capacity for the past 15 years.
“I am excited about the direction and prospects of D & D, and I look forward to working with the management team in leading D & D into the future,” stated Mr. Stinar. “Based on my prior experience in working with D & D and its people, I am able to join D & D with a pretty good understanding of its culture and operations.”
