Lactobacillusprobiotics
Direct Fed Microbials
Special
microbials produce “antibiotic-like” substances that
appear to help prevent certain, bacterial infections aid in digestion
and help produce amino acids and enzymes.
-
Gram Positive:
Bacteria are considered good bacteria and often attack and
destroy.
-
Gram Negative:
Bacteria that live off of blood, tissue, bone and give off
toxic substances.
-
Lactobacillus:
Organisms are the most popular gram positive bacteria. There
are other compounds, which are also helpful such as bacillupubtillus,
lactis, bulgarious, enterococcus, etc.
-
Spec Strains:
The probiotics used in L’Avian Plus™ products
are specifically grown and cultured for caged birds or small
animals. The combination in each product differs according
to species.
Chelated
Trace Minerals
(Key-Lated)
These
are organic minerals that are more soluble and thus can be absorbed
easier. Chelation is the process of removing the mineral salt
and attaching the mineral to a protein or amino acid thus making
the mineral more biologically available and creating “tissue
targeted” mineral nutrients that go immediately to the area
in the system of greatest need. Many studies have shown that chelated
trace minerals improve growth rates, feathering, color, skin and
coat, fertility and egg production when compared to regular mineral
sources (sulfates and oxides).
Look for:
Copper, iron, magnesium, or manganese as an amino acid complex
or proteinate.
